Has anyone ever ordered furniture from Jennifer Convertibles? I looked at some of their couches, they seemed good, but i checked online for some reviews, and they seem to have horrible reviews. Horrible customer service, and delivery of defective items is the common concern. A person complained that they promised him delivery after 3 weeks and did not show up on the date. And later said that the delivery guy was there, and he must have missed him and since they had to make a delivery again, charged him 80 bucks more for the delivery. I did like some couches, but wouldn't want to take chances, and they have a 30% penalty on order cancellation fees.
What are your opinions? What are the alternatives? I have tried Macy's and West Elm. Both are decent, though West Elm can get expensive with all the shipping and white glove delivery. Also, I am trying to get something that is baby friendly ( no sharp edges kind ), and West Elm is not ideally suited.
I would prefer something contemporary, which is not insanely expensive.
thanks

I got a nice, contempoary sofa from Value City Furniture. It was reasonably priced and I got prompt, professional delivery. They have locations throughout NJ. I believe the closest is in Bayonne. From the name of the store you would think it's cheap quality, but that's not the case.

I have a living room set from Jennifer. I was moving here from out-of-state so I was basically forced to shop at a national retailer so I could have furniture delivered on my move-in date.
We love our furniture, no complaints whatsoever and we receive many compliments. We have a red microfiber set (pull-out couch, loveseat, chair) plus some end tables and coffee table.

we have a three seater couch from Jeniffer Convertibles. Its been almost two years, but still the same quality. We were also happy with their on time delivery service. We bought ours from the store in paramus, they might not have all you want, but they definetly have good customer service, and also they could bring in furniture from NYC if you like any.

I have a leather sofa & chair from Jennifer Convertibles. I've had it for 3 years and it's still in great condition. I like it because it's a kiln-dried hardwood and corner blocked as well. The delivery was on time.

hmm. Thanks. I looked at some at Macy's and though slightly more expensive, I thought they had much better construction than those Jennifer Convertibles. I might go with macy's because I had earlier bought a couch from them, and was very happy with it.
Wonder anyone has bought any furniture from macy's. Do they have a furniture discount outlet somewhere?
Thanks

I had a horrible experience with Jennifer Convertible. Their items are pretty good... but not worth taking all that crap from the customer service. Try Seaman's... they have similar items with less of attitude.
Macy's is slightly more expensive... but the quality is good.
