Give your magazines to doormen or share them with residents

If you subscribe to magazines which you throw away after reading, you could pass them on to others by leaving in a communal area (say near the mailboxes) or give them to the doormen of your building to read. It provides them some entertainment when they aren't busy. I asked doormen in my building beforehand and they said that the magazines were welcome.

Look out for magazines in Riverside building. I get tons of magazines... some I toss even before reading.
