How to get here from Manhattan via Holland Tunnel?

I need to give directions to friends who are coming here by car from Manhattan via the Holland Tunnel. What are the good directions? I know that it is very close, but never drove that way myself...

They make these interesting little tools on the internet called Maps. All you do is put in an address and will give you the location. Then, it you are really smart, there is a button called Driving Directions...

I didn't ask for a ridicule. If you have nothing to say, then just don't say anything. Those maps do not always give the best directions and also they do not account for possible detours due to construction. The best is to ask someone who drives this route often...

Right #1= At Hess traffic light
Right *2= Next traffic light
Left # 1= At traffic light after Staples

I am assuming your friends know how to get to the tunnel from Manhattan. If not.. use the internet maps. They aren't going to detour a major street in NY.

turn right immediately upon exit of holland tunnel at hess station corner: there is a sign that says NEWPORT ->

Make immediate next right onto 18th st:
there is another sign that says NEWPORT ->

18th st curves around and becomes washington blvd

Make a left turn on Newport Parkway (staples/modells intersection)

Make a right turn at dead end onto River Drive (Duane Reade Intersection)

Make a right turn on town square (south city grille)

Continue around square and park in the garage by the rental office (?) or you can adjust that part depending on where you want them to wind up.
