While I do like Whole Foods, I think Wegman's beats them hands down. Whole Foods does have some nice choices but they're limited, each section seems small and the employees they hire are less than professional.

On the other hand, Wegmans has a more comprehensive selection of gourmet food brands and items unlike Whole Foods everything is the 365 brand and organic.

The employees are trained well and know their food. I once had the pleasure of standing in on a lecture about all the different olives in the olive bar at Wegmans by one of their associates. I was so intrigued that I picked up some spicy Nicoise Olives that day just because. Now I am a regular olive customer at Wegmans.

Wegmans is out of this world, you want it they've got it gourmet. ;)

I've been going to Wegman's at Woodbridge whenever I visit the Woodbridge Center Mall. Is there a Wegman's in Bridgewater now, that's on route 22 which is much closer. Tell me more. :)

*To request a Wegmans in the Newport Area write to...

Yea, I love wegmans. The gorcery stores we have here (A&P and Shoprite) don't even compare to Wegmans. I used to live in Ithaca, NY and it has a Wegmans. I really miss it... :(
