Following requests and discussions I have tonight completed the installation of an arcade to the site. So far it consists of 9 games but more will be added over the coming weeks.

You can access the arcade via the link at the top of the page next to Petz.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Kerry-Anne

now my highest score is still 0.... :(

Mahjong game has an error in the score.

CRAP!!!!!

I specifically stayed home tonight to get work done, and now I've been sitting in the arcade for 3 hours.

I'll check mahjong over later and make sure there is nothing sinister going on. I've got two copies so I can alwatys try the other one if there is a fault I can't fix.

How do you submit scores for Black Jack and those games?
I can't seem to submit my score....

Ok. I've replaced the Mahjong game with the other version. I'm just about to test it but it should be working OK

Kerry-Anne,

Is there a Chess game available? Please look into this game, and let us know. :D

What are the other games available? Sonia mentioned on another thread that there are over 500. Obviously that is overwhelming but I saw Breakout and Frogger. They might be pretty cool. I'm not sure if a Chess game would do anything that we can't already do at Yahoo Chess.

Like a previous poster, my free evenings (Mon, Thurs) have been spent in the arcade and not what I should be doing! i.e tidyng my apartment and buying Christmas shopping! Chopper Ch*****ge and Snake are really neat as each game only takes a minute or less. My Space Invaders score took me an hour and 20 mins.

Frogger!

Since we're bringing back the classics, Centipede and Pac Man would be nice too.

You can't beat Space Invaders, Frogger, BreakOut, PacMan, Galaxians .. ahh.. the good old days ... :) my all-time favourite though was Track And Field. Hammering those keys to get your little guy to run that bit faster ...

Galaxians! How can I forget Galaxians?

The day when Halo and World of Warcraft gets ported onto whatever future java language for use in a retro messageboard "arcade" section can't be too far off. Wow, we're getting old.

Frogger is a classic! I'll never forget playing frogger on that Apple's b&w screen.... ah! The good ol' days!!

Heres the update.

I've searched everywhere for a chess game and there are none forthcoming at the moment.

However it looks like we are leaning towards Frogger.

Other options available are Pacman, Asteriods, Space Invaders and Breakout.

I've set up a poll for you to vote for your favourite. The one with the most votes on Friday at 2300 GMT will be installed.

Does anyone else find that when they complete a level on Jigsaw Puzzle, the Continue button does not work?

When I played a jigsaw puzzle, the continue button worked forever until I gave up and submitted a score.

Maybe it's a browser bug? I'll try again.

Kerry, can we replace Christmas Presents with another game? There's a cheat where you can get as high a score as you want by just leaving your machine on.

Sure, what sort of game would you like?

Something that's quick and easy to play akin to Chopper Ch*****ge or Snake. What are the options? I saw one site had a 'Simple Simon', that might be cool :)

Cool. I'm in the UK too, flying back to the USA today. I've had ten days of catching up with family and friends. Couldn't miss Mum's homemade mince pies and Christmas pudding :)

Ohhhhh.. It brings me back lots of memories...
When I was young, one of my friend had a Simon game machine. She played it for hours. I did not understand how she can play it for that long. It was rather boring for me.. Anyway, I bet if she plays Simon here today, she will be a champion right away.. :)

I don't like Simon game..

It is as if the game is trying to tell me that I have either Attention Disorder or Short-term Memory Problem..
