Newport: things to do when you're 4yrs old

Our 3.5yr old (who attends school in London) shall be living in TOA (Newport) for a couple of months. Given that the child is away from her normal school environment, we're looking for ideas to keep her constructively occupied on a daily basis.

Does anyone know of part-time classes (ballet, cooking, gym, etc) nearby?

Anyone running toddler / childminder classes?

I heard a playcenter, Gymboree, will be opening soon on River Drive. You can also speak to the Riverside Daycare Center to see if they have half a day, or Stevens school for suggestions.
