Speaking as the Webmaster, I for one am really glad that there are these many Nic related threads and messages on our board - ever since these posts starting showing up on our board, we have seen a huge decline in those hateful posts that had become the norm for a while - makes our job a LOT easier!

And just so that people don't have trouble finding the "Nic" thread, I am going to make this thread a "sticky" one for a while, so that it always shows up on the top of the forum!

What's your problem? I deleted your post because it contained profane language, which we do not want people to see when they visit our "community" board, the key here indeed being "community"!

As for your answer, well, this is still a test board, and people are just trying to have some fun while checking out the new features - and so was I! I needed a thread to test out the "sticky thread" feature, and so, I chose this one.

You need to lighten up and have some fun - that's what life is all about !!!

It's funny, half of the people on the old/current Board blame us for not deleting the pro-Nic posts, while the other half blame us for leaving the anti-Nic posts in there - what is an Admin to do? :confused: :(

Sonia, that's a misperception. Most of the posts aren't even related to Nic!

Hlaf the fun on the old board was the anarchy that anonymity and impersonation caused.

So I was at the Newport Eat Fest today... and guess who I saw???

I was fortunate enough to witness Nic and Tara meet for the first time, in front of Fleet Bank of all places! They didn't know it was me, but I knew them :) Especially when Tara said "Hi, I'm Tara!".

It was a cute encounter... I later saw them eating together... once again... A cute moment. :)

Nic, yous a Tall Fellow eh? I thought I was tall, but you tower over me!

For all those who may have caught Nic, he was the only guy wearing a hat, and probably the tallest one there.

I jus remember what Nic looked like, then while I was talking to my girlfriend, I heard someone say, 'Hi, I'm Tara, its nice to finally meet you!'

Tara isn't a very common name so i turned and looked, and saw a Nic look alike. I took a careful look at Tara also, so when i got home later I compared to what I saw in her profile... yup... it was them... hehe

Tara is way shorter than I expected and Nic is hella tall! Its like a 6'5" guy next to a 5' girl! It's pretty noticeable :)

We ate dinner at the party last night, it was very nice. I saw Sonia with Taco and Daisy; I also saw Tara with a tall guy, who Sonia identified as Nic. They seemed to be enjoying the event. Tara is about 5'4" , and Nic is very tall, way over 6', which makes him stand out. Plus he was wearing a baseball cap. I think Tara is very pretty, even prettier than her picture.
