I there a Newport Ski Club???

I noticed that there isn't a ski club in Jersey City. I wonder if there would be enough people interested in joining a ski club in Newport. Of course, if there is already one here, then I would like some info about joining myself.

Where would we ski? I like downhill, but don't know of any good places around here. Any suggestions?

Any news on the ski club? I'm headed to Telluride this February (first time), and would love to exchange info with someone who has been there, and is familiar with the slopes. Please PM.
