I send my shirts to cleaners who charge between $1.30 to $1.60 per shirt for wash and iron. Sometimes the shirts come back torn at the elbow area. It's a pretty big tear, about one to two inches. Has anyone ever experienced this? Does the cleaner normally compensate you?

They tell me that the automated ironing process tears the shirt as it pulls the sleeves straight before ironing. Are there any reliable cleaners out there that don't have this problem?

BTW, how good is the automated ironing, when it doesn't rip your shirt?

We use Jon's Cleaners at the mall, upstairs. No torn shirts...yet....

The ironing is fine, not perfect, but acceptable. Can't complain for that price.

We use National Cleaners on 225 Pavonia Ave, so far no complains. Great service.
