Why does it feel like Newport always needs something? There must be a lack of amenities for everyone here. No entertainment, no quick food places to eat, etc.

The problem with Newport is that it's just too contrived and planned, with way too many obstacles for an individual enterpreneur to try his luck in providing what people want.
