Anyone attempted a month to month lease for a couple of months after the current lease ends?. Do they charge extra?

I haven't tried to renew month to month but I promise you they will charge extra.

When I asked for a month-to-month lease, it was sure more expensive; but I don't think the hike was 15%. It was more like 10 or 11%. I think you should definitely try to negotiate by showing that you were there quite a while and never late paying lent, etc.. Good luck.
