I have an odd question: Do LeFrak apartments have screens on the windows?
We live in The Roosevelt and none of the windows have screens - except for one window in one bedroom. It seems odd that they put a screen on one window, but not on any others!
Not having screens is a pain...we don't want bugs to fly in, or cats to fall out - yet we wanna take advantage of the really nice breeze!

Mine had screens when I moved in, but a neighbor mentioned that his didn't - he had to call the super and request them

You're in the roosevelt?
So, I just have to ask the doorman for screens?

Sorry, should have clarified - I'm in East Hampton. But I know of a couple people who've had this problem (the neighbor I referred to was in EH, but not all of them are) ... They should provide them free if other people in your building have them

Okay - I'll check with the doorman. I dont know if other people have them (it's hard to tell from the street) - but it just seems odd to me that ONE set of windows in my apartment has screens but none of the other ones do!
The breeze is SO nice!

You can request them, but I was told that if you live on a high floor that there is a chance they may blow out. I don't think that is very likely to happen, though. I don't get that much of a breeze through my place.
