I go to this poetry reading / open mic at a place called: The Water Bug Hotel.

Located above the Key Hole Bar on Newark and Erie streets.
(One block West of the Grove Street Path station.)

The local talent is amazing and I always leave there laughing and amazed by the preformances.

The reading does go on a little late, I'll admit. I still say it is worth checking out and a good way to meet local people from J.C. .

Every Thursday Night - 10:30 pm til 1 am or so.

There is a Bar and sign up to read, come on down.
Support local artists and culture.
Run by a local artist collective.
Bring your interest and what ever you would like to share.

This past Thursday's reading was great!
Hilarious! Thought prevoking! Beer!

Here is a pic of a Mosaic I created for the spot.
