any predictions for who's next?
put me down for kim's
from what i have seen the average "employee to customer" ratio
is not conducive to long business life
unless i am missing something.......

I don't understand why anyone is taking pleasure in the fact that some of these stores failed. I feel bad that they did and I hope they find success elsewhere. As far as Kim's, I like them a lot and always see people in there. I am glad they are here.....if they weren't here, people would complain, now that it's here, people still complain. Everyone wanted a movie rental place and now that there is one, people aren't happy.
Some people will never be happy with anything......
Also, if people don't like their business model, then try opening a store yourself and see how well you do.

no pleasure in anyones failure ...and i mean that!!!
but i cant change reality either
personally i love kims
but i still dont think they are coming remotely close to being a viable business
i was thinking a real bookstore would do well in that space
barnes and noble or was it borders thought otherwise...
but everyone loves a book store

Some people do not understand the true nature of capitalism. When you put a small outlet store in an office complex, no matter how many people work there, it's not going to work. Especially in Newport, where there are many other amenities that should be fulfilled before a clothes outlet. I'm glad it's gone.
