I think its great that they finally decided to use caution with the strong winds and the Shore Club construction. On the extremely windy days, I have found paint buckets, blocks of wood, among other things in the dog park. It's extremely dangerous and I am glad they are finally taking it seriously.

Windy days create problems for the dog park. Today, the entry gates were flapping around like flags on a flagpole. Unfortunately, the latches on all 4 gates (interior and exterior) are broken.

I think that an accident a couple of days ago had something to do with it. A whole bunch of stuff fell from the top floors and ripped the net (hence a red section of the net that you can see now). You could hear the stuff crashing on the roof of the lobby for about 15 seconds. I imagine that they must've looked everything over safety-wise after that.

It doesn't surprise me that it took an accident before this was taken SERIOUSLY. I heard that people complained about all of the flying debris, but of course, it took an accident before something was done about it.
They are lucky no one was killled.....a flying paint bucket could have hit someone in the park or in a car and could have proven to be fatal. It's sad that it takes an accident around here before a problem gets fixed.
