I've used Dr. Rosa for several years now and think he's an excellent dentist. Friendly, knowledgeable, and does very good work.

His assistant hardly gives the right appointment when needed most. He is not all that great as he appears first time.

From my experiences, I would disagree with "discoveredyou." My appointments have always been when I wanted them. The staff is courteous and Dr. Rosa is fine. Now, my visits have been just your twice yearly check-ups and no problems have arisen, but those experiences have been fine...not sure if that would make a difference.

Is Dr. Rosa on some sort of medical leave? I Calle dhis office and he said he was away until March. Did he recommend any other dentist during his absence?

Try Dr.Zazzaro- the dentist in the 100 Pavaonia office (the new blding next to rental office- 201-626-6210 Newport Dental Arts). He did a good job and was friendly. He has a digital X-Ray machine which shows very good detail of your bone density etc. He accepts most insurances too(I used Delta Dental insurance).

Problem is that he only works on Mondays from 9:30 - 5:30 and every other Thursday at the same time... very limited schedule and is booked most of the time.

Dr. Rosa has closed his office until April. I called Dr. Zazzaro and got an appointment within a week of the call and he was very professional and is equipped with all the modern equipment. He is in his early 30s, but looks even younger--I thought I met the Doogie Howser of dentistry for a minute. One of my friends uses a Dentist in the mall and he loves the guy and thinks he does phenomenal work (and he had several procedures down over the last 2 years) If you want his name let me know and I will ask my friend the guy's name.
