Does anyone know if Newport Liberty Medical provides good pediatrics?
Anyone to recommend?
Also, if a babysitter says that you can pay her whatever amount you wish, what kind of charges are we looking at?

don't know about the NLM. But for a baby sitter, depending upon her hours and her experience, you can end up paying from $350 to $550 a week.

Hi,

We see Dr. Yu in Total Care Pediatrics in Newport Liberty Medical. So far, we're happy with him. The hours are great coz they are open from 4pm - 8pm (no more taking the day off to bring the baby in for doctor's appointment).

Anyway, you can make an appointment to interview any of the pediatricians in Total Care Pediatrics. FYI, the phone number is 201-222-1266.

We see Dr. Klos and Dr. Ono at Hoboken Pediatrics. They have been our 4 yr old pediatriucians since he was born. Very happy with them and is quite close to Newport too. check out http://hobokenpediatrics.net/

Dr. Oko and not Dr. Ono.

We take our baby to them too and are reasonably happy.

Thanks. Heard that Dr Yu is good from someone too but problem is, he only comes in on Weds.
Did think of Hoboken but I don't drive.

The Hoboken pediatrics is easy to get to. Its a couple of blocks from teh PATH/LR station.

There are some pediatricians on 79 Hudson, but we haven't ever visited them. My wife was suggesting them as an alternative Oko as they are closer to PATH/LR

I dropped by the NLM (Total Care Pediatrics) and picked up a brochure with information on the 5 pediatricians on staff. Firstoff, the secretary girls were VERY rude of course, what more can I expect from Jersey City. Anyway, the hours are not a problem M-Th 4-8,F 2-8, and Sat 10-2. Just curious if they have a doc oncall 24/7 to receive emergency questions if our child got sick..The current group of pediatricians we're currently with are great, several with degrees of Harvard and many years of experience, and most importatnly, this group has a doc on call 24/7.. it's just that they're too far from us.

I've seen advertisments for Dr. Klos and Dr. Onos' office (Hoboken Pediatrics) often and it seems like some people in Newport go there. I would like to know if anyone can tell me if there is parking.
