Greetings everyone!

I just moved into the Newport area, and am contemplating whether to pay for monthly valet, or for a reserved spot. Are the parking employees trustworthy? Reserve costs more, but if it will save me from a Ferris Bueller episode or people lifting my change/CDs/etc...that might be my only option.

Also, I might sometimes want to switch cars with my relatives (e.g. might want to borrow friend's SUV now and then). Not sure how that will work for either scenario above.

Any advice from you newport veterans here?

Thanks,
KH

You can self-park your car in the Newport garage next to Riverside. Valet parking is only required when the garage is full.

You can self-park on 3rd level up. But on 3rd and 4th level there are reserved spots. If you don't pay for reserved spots you obviously can't park there. Reserved spots are easily recognizable. They are numbered and most spots say "Reserved".
