About the Newport Waterfront Association, Inc.

The Newport Waterfront Association (NWA) is a non-profit corporation formed for charitable purposes.

Among our concerns are:

Transportation
Emergency services
Park development
Interaction with landlords and local businesses
Cultural and recreational activities

Through our website, we encourage the direct communication among neighbors, timely alerts regarding emergencies, helpful information relating to living in the area, the exchange of ideas among community members and the encouragement of local commerce.

Our philosophy is that positive change can best be achieved by unifying the communities’ resources, and through direct communication between its members and leaders.

We are a vibrant, action-oriented organization well-suited to represent the interests of residents. We invite you to join us to improve our community and build stronger leadership for an improved Jersey City.

Internal Revenue Code Sec. 501 (c)(3) Tax Exempt organization status. Individuals and corporations contributing to our organization receive a charitable tax deduction for their donations. Individuals may also be eligible to obtain matching corporate donations through their employers.
